Deposit Policy

As the economy recovers and our business becomes busier, we are aligning ourselves with the vast majority of the Hair industry and so going forward all bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of a deposit. Your deposit is fully refundable, however in line with industry protocol we reserve the right to deduct a cancellation fee from your deposit prior to the release of the balance (Such balance will only be refunded to the original payment card). In compliance with consumer law, any such cancellation fees will be reflective of the losses incurred by the business where we are unable to re-sell your appointment. We will make every effort to minimise our losses by re-marketing the appointment on our social media and to anyone on a waitlist.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation fees work on a sliding scale as follows. (On the assumption that we cannot sell the space and recoup our losses)

  • More than 48 hours prior to the appointment – No Charge
  • Between 24 and 48 hours - 50% of the appointment charge
  • Under 24 hours – full balance of the appointment
  • Failure to attend your appointment with no contact (No Show) Your cancellation charge will equal your deposit even when our losses are greater.

By proceeding to make a booking you are confirming that you have read, understood and accept these terms.

We hope you understand why we have had to put this measure in place especially after the last 2 years with Covid. We now only have Pauline, Laurie and Cheryl in the salon but still have the same overheads hence why we now have to be stricter with our cancellation/no show policies. 

Skin Testing Policy

Partners Hair Salon in Broughty Ferry have a duty of care to make sure that you are protected in these circumstances! The best way of ensuring that you are allergy free when it comes to hair colouring, is to come into our Dundee Salon 2-7 days prior the application of hair colour. Here you can have specific skin test done with the hair colour range that we use in our salon. This is without a doubt the safest and most efficient way of detecting any allergies that may cause damage to your skin!

Partners Hair STRONGLY ADVISE a skin test before we colour your hair.

ALL NEW GUESTS TO THE SALON MUST HAVE A SKIN TEST. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOUR APPOINTMENT BEING CANCELLED AND DEPOSIT RETAINED.

ALL REGULAR GUESTS WHO HAVE HAD THEIR HAIR COLOURED 6 WEEKS PRIOR TO THEIR NEXT BOOKING, THIS WILL BE TREATED AS THEIR SKIN TEST.

As professionals we endeavour to keep you from harm at all times. The BEST PRACTICE is to come in to our hairdressing salon in Dundee and undertake your specific skin test.  SKIN TESTING IS HERE TO PROTECT YOU!

Free Roam Policy

At Partners Hair Salon in Dundee, we consider ourselves to be a Free Roam Salon. We do understand that you may wish to move to a different stylist and we promise not to be offended if you do. We regard you as a guest of our salon. We offer you the option to select the stylist of your choice or change each time you visit.
