As the hair passes through the barrel it cools and sets the curl as it comes out the other side. The barrel is cool to the touch so can be placed nearer to the root area for optimum results and a comfortable styling experience.
The ghd Oracle styles your locks at the ideal heat of 185 ° degrees to respect your hair from root to tip. When hair is styled at this temperature it reaches what is known as the ‘glass transition stage’ allowing you to optimise your style without compromising the condition or health of your hair.
