Policies & Procedures FAQ’s
Why do I need to pay a deposit?
You pay a deposit as you are making an appointment with a professional stylist. By paying a deposit we know many guests will show and not waste our time allowing more appointments to become available for you. Your deposit will be used as part payment towards your service and is fully refundable should you cancel within 24 hours for your appointment. If you fail to show up for your appointment unfortunately you will loose your deposit and will be charged in accordance with our cancellation policy.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Our cancellation policy is strictly 24 hours. If we don’t receive 24 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment unfortunately, your deposit is non-refundable. If you fail to show up after booking online your debit/credit card will automatically be charged 50% of the value of the services booked. We completely understand that things can happen at the last minute and can assure you that we will be more than sympathetic in certain circumstances. Regrettably, we have had to put these measures in place because of the sheer volume of non-arrivals we have had, which in turn costs the salon hundreds of pounds per month.
Why do I need a patch test?
We have a duty of care to all our guests! The best way of ensuring that you are allergy free when it comes to hair colouring, is to come into 48 hours before your colour appointment. Here you can have specific skin test carried our with the Wella colour range that we use in the salon. This is without a doubt the safest and most efficient way of detecting any allergies that may cause damage to your skin! Find out more on our blog post about colour patch testing.
